Whether it’s raining or snowing, the off-season or busy summertime, a weekday morning or Christmas Day, you can always count on museums in Branson. There are a variety of museums stationed around town; some are educational and moving, while others are fun and borderline crazy (in a good way). Plus, most of these museums are open year-round with extensive hours. No matter who you’re traveling with—your antsy kids, your new sweetheart, your sweet grandparents—you can find a museum in town to satisfy everyone in your party. To learn more about the many museums in Branson, please scroll down.

Museums in Branson

Titanic Museum

  • Phone: 800-381-7670 (toll free) or 417-334-9500
  • Address: 3235 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Varies, longer hours in summertime, check this link for details
  • Tickets: About $22 for adults, $9 for children ages 5-12, free for children ages 0-4, $67 for a family pass (2 adults, 4 children)

Did you know that you can learn about one of America’s great tragedies, the sinking of the Titanic, in the heart of Branson, Missouri? The experience begins with a boarding pass: a card that gives you the name of a passenger on the Titanic. At the end, you can read your passenger’s story and learn if he or she survived the journey to America. Throughout the museum, you’ll find artifacts, memorabilia, and interesting facts about the ship, the passengers, and the disastrous shipwreck. For example, you can stick your hand into a pool of water chilled to the temperature of the ocean when the Titanic sank, and you can walk through replicas of some of the Titanic’s rooms, including the grand staircase. It’s an unforgettable experience and undoubtedly one of the top museums in Branson.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Odditorium

  • Phone: 417-337-5300
  • Address: 3326 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Opens everyday at 9:30am, last ticket sold at 6pm Sunday-Thursday and 8pm Friday-Saturday
  • Tickets: With online discount, $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 4-12

Do you remember flipping through the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not books as a child with equal parts fascination and befuddlement? Shrunken heads, physical deformities, unbelievable stories . . . The museum (a.k.a. odditorium) in Branson brings those bizarre events and strange items to life. There are baffling artifacts, 3D paintings, optical illusions, fun-house tunnels, interactive exhibits, and more. Plus, the building is very unique, mimicking a building with earthquake damage. It is one of the best museums in Branson to visit with kids and teenagers.

World’s Largest Toy Museum

  • Phone: 417-332-1499
  • Address: 3609 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Closed on Sundays and Christmas Day, open 9am-8pm Monday-Saturday, closes at 6pm in the winter
  • Tickets: $10 for adults, $8 for children

For the young at heart, the World’s Largest Toy Museum provides a joyful walk down memory lane. You will love rediscovering the toys you adored in your youth and introducing them to your own children. Nearly all of the toys are behind glass for preservation purposes, however, so be sure to warn your kids that the museum is (unfortunately) not a giant playroom.

Veterans Memorial Museum

  • Phone: 417-336-2300
  • Address: 1250 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Vary, click this link for more information
  • Tickets: $17 for adults, $14 for veterans and military members, $10 for students ages 13-17, $5 for children ages 6-12, $11 for groups of 15 or more

To honor those who have served our country, consider visiting the Veterans Memorial Museum. This educational attraction and national tribute covers the wars of the twentieth century, including WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Persian Gulf. As you wander through the ten halls of the museum, you will learn the stories of many brave men and women. There are historical artifacts, pieces of artwork, authentic memorabilia, and beautiful sculptures designed to commend American soldiers. The museum seeks to honor our armed forces while also educating future generations.

Branson Auto & Farm Museum

  • Phone: 417-335-2600
  • Address: 1335 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Open 9am-5:30pm
  • Tickets: Call the number above between 9am and 5:30pm for ticket information

Any car enthusiasts out there? During your trip to Branson, you can’t miss out on the Branson Auto & Farm Museum. Located on the world-famous Branson Strip, this museum features over 100 awesome cars and tractors, including classic cars and antique farm equipment. Plus, many of these automobiles are for sale, which means the museum’s inventory is constantly changing.

Hollywood Wax Museum

  • Phone: 417-337-8277
  • Address: 3030 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard
  • Hours: Open 365 days a year, opens at 8am, closing times vary by season and day, click this link for more information
  • Tickets: $20 for adults ages 12+, $10 for children ages 4-11

Although the figures in this museum are wax, their uncanny resemblance to stars of today and yesteryear may leave you feeling starstruck. Open 365 days a year, the Hollywood Wax Museum lets visitors get up close and personal with their favorite celebrities. There are modern stars like Johnny Depp and Will Smith as well as classic entertainers like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Charlie Chaplin. You can take photos with the stars, learn about their lives and accomplishments, and discover how wax figures are made. Of all the museums in Branson, you can’t beat the Hollywood Wax Museum if you love taking silly photos and selfies.

Celebrity Car Museum

  • Phone: 417-239-1644
  • Address: 1600 West Highway 76 Country Boulevard, Suite A
  • Hours: Opens at 9am Monday-Sunday, closes at 8pm Sunday-Thursday, closes at 10pm Friday-Saturday
  • Tickets: $18 for adults, $8 for children ages 5-13, free for children under 5

Another option for all you car enthusiasts out there, the Celebrity Car Museum features a variety of celebrity-owned and historic movie cars. For example, you can check out the sheepdog van from Dumb and Dumber, a vehicle from the Fast & Furious movies, Herbie the Love Bug, Barricade from Transformers, the Delorean from Back to the Future, a special effects bike from Mission Impossible, and the Crown Vic from Men in Black. Whether you love cars, movies, or both, this attraction shouldn’t be missed.
