Every November, the entire city of Branson jointly observes “Homecoming Week,” a six-day spectacle that includes everything from military galas to reunions and a “Sandbox Party.” Ballparks of America hosts the annual Veterans Village, which operates daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thousands of veterans, active troops, and first responders stroll into the village to meet old friends, enjoy discounted meals, see live performances, speak to local vendors, and purchase patriotic merchandise. The Veterans Day Parade
Branson’s Veterans Day Parade remains one of the most enthralling, public-spirited celebrations in the country. It’s led by local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #913. The parade—a 1.5-mile loop—weaves through downtown, mostly utilizing Sycamore Street and Branson Landing Boulevard. As usual, the parade will feature 80-plus floats, as well as enthusiastic marching bands, dazzlingly-restored military vehicles, and proud military organizations from all across the Ozarks (and beyond). We couldn’t think of a better way to cap off an incredible week of patriotism.
