Best Photo Spots in Branson

It’s an unfortunate fact of life that all great vacations must come to an end. There are, of course, the memories that last. And one of the best ways to commemorate good times is through photos of yourself, the scenery, and the people you love. Whether you’re taking the photo with your iPhone, a professional-grade camera, or a simple disposable camera, your vacation pictures will continue to bring smiles long after the trip has ended. That said, they’d better be great photos! For pictures that are worthy of your Instagram page or the family photo album, take a look at some of the best photo spots in Branson.

Best Photo Spots in Branson

Marvel Cave

For a scenic photo that will wow your friends, pay a visit to Marvel Cave. Located in Silver Dollar City, this cave has been explored since the year 1500. There’s a lot of natural history to behold inside. Just make sure to bring a jacket if you’re going in the summer — the cave is chilly year-round!

Hollywood Wax Museum

We can’t write about the best photo spots in Branson without mentioning the Hollywood Wax Museum — this place is practically made for the hilarious photo ops. Located on the Branson strip, this museum has all your favorite movie and TV stars made from wax. (However, we’d wager that you won’t be able to tell the difference from the real thing.) You can “meet” — and take photos with — celebrities across decades, from John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe to Brad Pitt and Jamie Foxx. For pictures that are just plain fun, you won’t want to miss this stop.

Table Rock Lake

A trip to Table Rock Lake is sure to leave you with wonderful memories whether you bring along your camera or not. Just outside of Branson, this lake has crystal-clear water and is surrounded by plenty of lush, gorgeous trees. Snap a photo of your friends or family relaxing on a boat, local wildlife along the shore, or a beautiful sunset over the trees. Plus, due to the lake’s large size, you can choose from a busy spot with lots of activity or a secluded cove for more peaceful photographs. Out of all the best photo spots in Branson, this one is a timeless classic. You really can’t go wrong with a picture at Table Rock Lake.

Shepherd of the Hills’ Inspiration Tower

There’s a reason it’s called Inspiration Tower — the views are nothing short of breathtaking and truly inspirational. This tower sits 230 feet tall with a 36-degree enclosed observation area. On a clear day, those who go to the top can see 90 miles out in every direction. Whether you’re an amateur with a smartphone or a total pro with a DLSR, the view will make for a great photo. If you’re afraid of heights, however, you may want to sit this one out.

Showboat Branson Belle

For a sweet, romantic photo op, take a ride on the Showboat Branson Belle. This antique showboat has become famous for its on-the-water dinner shows that feature comedy, music, and dancing. On the trip, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos of the scenery and the person with whom you’re sharing the experience. Try and plan your trip around sunset. Your photos are guaranteed to be unforgettable!

The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure

If you’re an animal- or nature-lover, this spot is undeniably up your alley. The Butterfly Palace has thousands of different butterflies from more than 50 different species with which you can get up-close and personal. It’s great for kids to learn some photography skills, too. With so many beautiful creatures flying all around, you’re sure to take some excellent shots.

The Fountain Show at Branson Landing

And last but certainly not least, there’s the Landing’s fountain show. During each show, the water dances to a different song, creating many picture-perfect moments. From Sunday to Saturday, there are fountain shows every hour, on the hour, so it’s easy to swing by the Landing and catch one at your convenience.
