Do your kids love baseball? Have they dreamed about visiting classic baseball stadiums across the USA? Or better yet, do you coach a youth baseball team? If any of these apply, you might be interested in visiting Branson’s upcoming attraction, Ballparks of America. This all-inclusive baseball resort will feature replicas of iconic American baseball stadiums, allowing kids to feel like they’re playing in the big leagues. The tournament site is designed to create a fun and exciting baseball experience for 10U-13U youth baseball teams. Although the facility won’t be ready to host weeklong team tournaments until summer 2016, today we’re going to give you a sneak peek into what you can expect in the years to come.

Which classic stadiums are featured?

Ballparks of America will have two-thirds replica stadiums of the following parks:

I’m the coach of a 10U-13U baseball team. What do I need to know?

Ballparks of America is designed to create a fantastic baseball experience for players, coaches, and their fans. The facility includes lodging, so your team can stay together in a Team Suite. Plus, admission to the ballpark is free for your fans and food is available on-site! To learn more about the facility’s tournament rules, code of conduct, team waiver, accommodations, and registration requirements, please visit the Coaches’ Corner section of the website.

What will the weeklong schedule be like for tournaments? 

Teams will check-in on Friday, beginning at 5pm. On Saturday, the facility has an opening ceremony for the tournament at 11am, followed by Pool Play beginning at 2pm. Pool Play continues through Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Wednesday is an off day, but Single Elimination begins that evening and continues through Thursday. On Friday, the tournament ends with the Semi-Final and Championship games. Of course, this schedule may change due to inclement weather. Your team is guaranteed to play at least 7 games (6 Pool Play, 1 Single Elimination).

Will there be any events in 2015?

Yes! The Youth Baseball Network National Championship (also known as The Road to Branson) will occur on August 19-23, 2015.

What about 2016?

Throughout the summer, from May 28 to August 28, weeklong tournaments will occur. Most of these tournaments are for the 11U-12U age group. Teams in the 13U age group will have tournaments May 28 to June 3 and July 30 to August 5 (both are wood bat only), and those in the 10U age group can compete June 18-24. The Youth Baseball Network National Championship will occur August 17-21, 2016.
