Spoiler alert exposed in my title, I suppose. I cannot say enough good things about the experience and our stay at Notch Estates Cabins. I have grown up in the area and my family of 6 were visiting our relatives nearby. So I was aware of Notch Estates but I think these cabins are relatively new. Everything was clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and it is super convenient the lake and Branson. All our needs were met and everything was explained so well in the prep, that we rarely were in contact with management, other than them checking on us and our stay to ensure satisfaction. When I did connect with them, they were responsive, kind, and helpful. Since I visit my extended family in the area from time to time and have stayed a few different places, this is now my go to spot for sure. Selfishly, I just hope it doesn't get too popular and booked when I want to make our next visit!

Christmas trip 
The property was as advertised. We received excellent check in and out instructions. The property was clean and well stocked. We had 9 people and there was plenty of space. Everyone enjoyed the PacMan video game. We will stay again in the future. - (Dec 2023 - VRBO)

My husband, myself, and our two teens met my best friend at the cabin for a quick holiday get-together. It wasn't mentioned in the listing but it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The house was clean and has plenty of room for all of us. It felt so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! I love how peaceful it is! The lake is a hike to get to so I suggest only going if you are in good enough shape to climb back up the hill! I used both picnic tables on the trail to rest at! My favorite part is how close it is to SDC! You can even hear the train whistle!

The first family member to arrive texted us that it looked even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay and was convenient to Silver Dollar City.

Eight of us stayed. Plenty of beds/bathrooms. Downstairs was huge with big family room/kitchenette, walk out basement. Upstairs had very comfortable leather couches and reclining chairs. There is a table/4 chairs and the peninsula had 5 chairs or so. For meals we would spread out. There's a big table on screened in porch (main level). That was an option for family dinner & card games. Two swinging benches on porch were fun. The adults went out & read while swinging. Great forested view. Do realize this is in a vacation condo area. You will drive down past several buildings of condos to reach your cabin near the end of the drive. It is nice to be at the end. Not a lot of traffic. There is a basketball court right across from this cabin (with basketballs). Kids loved it. They have two small pools. For the hundreds of condo units you would think they would be crowded. But, people come and go. It was very comfortable. They have some lounge chairs. We were typically able to get one. Pool nearest to us had a walk in area, best for small kids. But the bathroom was locked. Good location! Silver Dollar City is about a mile down the road. The main strip about 10 min drive. There's a great BBQ joint called Come Take it. Right up the road on the left. The condo itself was mostly very clean and comfortable. Minor fixes needed, well loved. Well appointed. Had most everything you would need. Minus a big pot to boil spaghetti. :) Kids loved the whirlpool tubs!

We had a great time at the cabin. Everything was excellent! We would definitely go again. We loved the area, close to Silver Dollar City! Two large rooms. Privacy was possible while still being together. The swings on the enclosed porch were outstanding! Kitchen was solid. 4 bedrooms were all great!

The house was great. We are 67 through 87 years old. The stairs were steep and the tread of the steps was a little dangerous. Another rail should be installed on the right of the stairs going down to make it safer.

Perfect amount of space upstairs and down to spread out. A fully equipped kitchen, linens and anything a home needs. Oh that view from the screened in back deck !

This cabin was just right for our family. Each of our family groups having their own private bedroom with bathroom was great. Adults got king beds and children had the queens. Having 2 living areas was good for allowing some separation when needed. Kitchen was nicely equipped. As an added bonus you could hear the steam train of SDC whistle on the screened porch you arr so close to them. Will tecommend this place to family and friends.

Sleeping accommodations were good although downstairs mattresses were a little too soft for our liking. Also there was no heat in the downstairs bedroom on the right. The temp was never above 65* the entire time. All other parts of the cabin were cozy. Bring your own spoons! Kitchen table and chairs had caked food on them. Maybe after the holidays the place can get a deep cleaning. Overall we would stay agin if it were cleaner.

My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. We all enjoyed the two family rooms and the private bathrooms in each room. The only thing that was an issue for any of us is that it was not on the lake and the Wi-Fi was very weak other than that we all enjoyed our stay and have recommended future stays to our friends and extended family.
