We enjoyed this little cabin on the lake. It is situated so the lake is on both sides. You are right by a good sized pool (we were there the wrong season). You can park right by the door, which was a huge plus for us. Directly across from parking is a park area for the resort guests with a pavilion, picnic tables, grills, and a play area for the little ones. This cabin is also nearby to the laundry area for the resort. It wasn't hard to find and we were able to check ourselves in with no issues. Everything was well maintained and just as pictured. Although this cabin is a small cabin, it had everything we needed for the two of us. We were able to cook our own meals in the kitchen, watch TV from the couch, and also setup our computers at the table to do some work. The hosts were very responsive to any question or need. Located 10 miles off the highway, 25 mins from Silver Dollar City, and 45 mins from Branson. Perfect to be nearby but far enough away to be away from the crowds.

We found everything as expected and enjoyed our few days there. We suggest that you include a larger pot for cooking. There were two very small pots but no pot for anything larger. Just a suggestion, we've found really nice ones at thrift stores before. Also, we needed a soft-scrub sponge. The skillet had some previously cooked on food that led us to believe we were not the only people that would benefit from one. Dollar store brands would be sufficient. BeckyThe place was very much a lake property not much to do for teenagers and it was at least a 30 minute drive to town unless you wanted to shop at a Conoco, which was located a few miles down the road I would suggest an older couple or retired or just a couple without children. It may be different during the summer temperatures for children because you do have free access to a paddle boat in kayaks but other than the long drive into town, it was quiet and peaceful. I would like to see a hammock as posted in the picture, there was not a hammock that was on the property.

The place was great. We had a small cabin which is all we needed while enjoying the lake everyday. The pool is a major plus if you have kids.
