It can be difficult to choose between all the great options for cabins we offer in the Branson area.   Guests prefer one or the other for a variety of reasons.   All of our cabins, have very similar layouts and were built with vacationers in mind.   We requested features we found useful for our specific guests as they were built.

There are two main differences to keep in mind:

4BR Cabins ~ Notch vs Woods Resort

All of our 4 bedroom/4 bath cabins were built by the same builder, basically the same floor plan and include the same amenities. (The one exception is that one loft styled cabin is available at Branson Woods.)  It can be confusing to understand the differences. We have had many happy guests at either location; some who have stayed at both of our locations and enjoyed them both. Sometimes it is hard to decide which is best for your group, so we've provided this list of similarities and differences.

When guests ask for personal recommendations, we share with them this understanding. We consider Notch Twin Cabins our country cabins. Even though they are in a condo community with pools, they are in a more rustic area, with acres of woods and hiking trails and gravel drives. It is beautiful in a country sense.  At Notch we allow any size pet and you are moments from Silver Dollar City.  There are outdoor seasonal pools as well as a small private lake you can fish on after a brief hike.  There are two cabins here, both 4 bedroom, side by side, which sleep a total of 26 plus a pack n play.

Branson Woods is in the city of Branson and is a perfectly manicured resort. It has all the amenities you would expect and a perfect location for convenient city life; it is beautiful in a park sense, with extensive landscaping and flower beds.   The resort offers hottubs, an exercise room, outdoor and an indoor heated pool, meeting rooms, picnic shelters and a concierge for discount tickets.  Though quiet and private with great wooded views, it is located just at the edge of the famous strip moments from all the entertainment and dining.  We have many spacious cabins (1,2,3 & 4 bedroom) in the resort and can sleep over 154 all within very short walking distance of each other, all offering great wooded views and ample parking just outside the front door.

Branson Woods Resort Cabins ~ Log vs Luxury

The Branson Woods Resort cabins come in two types, authentic log construction or newer luxury construction styled as a log cabin.   Both log and luxury are available in one, two or three bedroom.   The 4 bedroom cabins are luxury style cabins only.   The Luxury cabins are newer and very similar to all of the other cabins we manage at the Woods, they are located in a row with the other newer cabins as well.    The Log cabins are located in a nearby section within easy walking distance and are true traditional built log cabins with real log fireplaces.   For more info on comparing these properties, one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom.  Here are some photos which may help you see some of the differences as well.
